DESCRIPTION:CMRAO Licensing Trends and Managing the Complaints Process                                                                   \nCAI is pleased to present a special webinar with Sandy Vizely\, Director of Regulatory Operations and Deputy Registrar of the CMRAO. The webinar will review the latest trends with respect to the number of licensed condominium managers in Ontario\, as well as Continuing Professional Education requirements for managers. We will also discuss the condominium manager complaint process to assist managers in properly responding to complaints\, as well as update managers on the CMRAO’s latest enforcement activities. The webinar will be hosted by CAI board member and condominium lawyer\, Bradley Chaplick. Don’t miss this critical seminar on regulatory trends and compliance for condominium managers! \nOur Moderator \nBradley Chaplick was admitted to the Law Society of Ontario (formerly the Law Society of Upper Canada) in 2009 and received his J.D. from Queen’s University Law School in 2008. As a partner at Levitt Di Lella Duggan & Chaplick LLP\, Bradley serves as a Team Leader of the firm’s Condominium Law Practice Group.Bradley regularly represents his condominium clients ar the Condominium Authority Tribunal\, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario\, enforcement of condominium rules and regulations through mediation\, and arbitration and court applications\, and collection of unpaid common expenses. Bradley frequently acts as a chairperson for condominium meetings and provides advice and written opinions to condominium board of directors. Bradley also provides mediation and arbitration services and is a mediator member of the ADR Institute of Ontario. Bradley’s mediation and arbitration practice focuses on condominium disputes\, landlord and tenant\, commerical leasing\, human rights\, and workplace and employement matters. Bradley was elected to the CAI Canada Board of Directors in 2024. \nOur Speaker \n \nSandy Vizely is the Director of Regulatory Operations and Deputy Registrar for the CMRAO\, and oversees the organization’s day-to-day operations\, which includes managing the licensing\, compliance\, and education teams. Previously\, he served as the CMRAO’s policy and programs lead\, responsible for the implementation of the CMRAO’s licensing program. He also managed the development of the organization’s technology build. Before joining the CMRAO\, he worked at ServiceOntario as a Senior Business Consultant in the Registry Projects unit. Sandy received his Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University\, and completed the Ontario Post-Graduate Program in Public Administration at Humber Polytechnic. \n  \nFree to attend!
