For those of you who have been following the story about the police officer/condo director, who misused the police database to search out information about another condo owner and ex-director, here is a further update.
A big disappointment for Jeff Green, when he heard that the charges were dropped against Sgt. Lakey.
Factors considered by the court were that Lakey has been disciplined internally, did not use the information from the police database for criminal or financial purposes and that charging Lakey would not serve the public interest.
Just how far can condo directors go when dealing with owners and other directors? Obviously, more that one would have thought.
